India has a remarkable geography and is resounded in its inspiring diversity. India is separated from the rest of the Asian countries by the Himalayas, fledgling and developing mountain series in the globe. India is a large landmass which is surrounded by the water bodies. This makes India easily identifiable in the world map. This triangular cape ascertains the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea.

India almost holds all kind of landscapes. Profusion of peaks and national parks endow with ecotourism and trekking opportunities. From the northern part of the country to the southern part, it extends to a landmass of about 3200 km. Nepal and the Himalayas are the neighbors, which take over the northern border. India has its major portion in North India with Jammu and Kashmir. The land topography varies from the dry patchy mountains in the far north to the lake country near Srinagar. After moving south along the Indus, the northern part of the country becomes more flatter and warm. The width of the country increases and this leads us to the fertile plains of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Over capital city, New Delhi is restricted between these two states.

Maharashtra, Goa, Maharashtra etc are some of the states that constitute the West of India. Augmenting from the Gujarat cape to Goa you can see some of the best beaches in India. You can also find abundant rainforests in this region. Deccan plateau and the Vindya Mountains are separated from the Verdant Mountains with the help of Western Ghats.

Sacred River Ganges is originated in India and thus it forms its home. East India includes the states like Bihar, Orissa, Arunachal Pradesh etc. These countries are located in the western most part of the region in East. The last swing of land which extends beyond the Bangladesh concluding in the Naga Hills is the area known as the Eastern triangle.

The southern region comprises of the states like Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka etc. Kerala is known to be the gods on country for the serene beauty.

Deforestation, Soil erosion, Air pollution etc from the Industrial effluents are the current environmental issues that the country face today. Comparing to rest of the Asian countries this is a small issue which can be resolved by providing proper counseling. India can be named a land of implausible diversities. The incredible physical diversity helps in matching up with the diversity in the population. India is a country with sixteen certified languages, five important religions, different caste and creed.
